Yashmita’s Profile
I am a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong foundation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, graduated from Brunel University in London. My journey in physiotherapy began in the private sector where I specialized in treating musculoskeletal injuries. Throughout this time, I developed a keen interest in women’s pelvic health, which has become a significant aspect of my practice. I also work with lactation-related issues, mastitis rehabilitation and mobilisation.
With experience working with diverse clients, ranging from office professionals to athletes, as well as post-natal mothers, I have honed my skills in addressing a variety of conditions.
While I am well-equipped to handle all musculoskeletal conditions, my passion lies in treating spinal and hip conditions particularly within the post-natal population, running injuries, and women’s pelvic health conditions with the use of manual therapy and dry needling. I firmly believe in the power of preventative care, ensuring that my clients not only recover but also minimize the risk of future injuries. My comprehensive approach to rehabilitation focuses on empowering clients through education and tailored exercise programs, enabling them to achieve their goals, be it running a marathon or simply enjoying a walk around the harbour.
