Kevin’s Profile

After completing my undergraduate double major in kinesiology (which is the study of biomechanics and body movement) and psychology, I went on to complete my Master of Physiotherapy degree in University of Toronto. I then returned to Hong Kong after my graduation and began my practice in a rehabilitation hospital in the public sector. I used to work with geriatrics and patients with a wide range of medical and neurological conditions.

While keeping myself up to date with the scientific literature, I found myself fascinated by the research in pain science, musculoskeletal conditions and sports injury. When an opportunity finally came to me where I can finally treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, I just know this is where I want to be and what I want to do.

I treat all musculoskeletal conditions but because of my past shoulder, knee and back injuries. I’m particularly interested in these areas of the body.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and exploring new restaurants. I’m a big advocate of staying active and I’ve exposed myself to strength training, calisthenics, bouldering and basketball. An interesting hobby of mine is that I love playing the drums as well.
